What:
Constantly exploring the possibilities with florals.
Description:
During art school, I was heavily inspired by the Baroque era, as well as by Vermeer and Peter Greenaway. Their way of working has influenced my approach to working with flowers.
My mom was a florist in a small town in Sweden, and every day after school, I would go there and play with whatever ended up on the floor.
During my time in Shanghai, I participated in several floral classes focusing on the Asian way of working. This combination has been very useful.

Working with what's in season is forcing yourself to look up and really see nature. If you miss something, you might have to wait a whole year to have access to that specific material again.

Placing flowers where you normally wouldn't expect to see them is an effective way to view both the surroundings and the arrangements in a new way.
